MMI provided the civil and structural engineering services for the construction of the new two-story Southern University of New Orleans (SUNO) College of Business. The 17,500 square foot building includes a lecture hall, classrooms, faculty offices, computer labs, and conference rooms. The building’s foundation is supported by timber piles. The structure consists of steel moment frames and a 3-inch floor system over steel joists.

The civil work included grading and drainage of the site as well as the addition of sidewalks and ramps for access to the building.
