MMI has been involved in the evolution of many local major college campuses and their additions and/or improvements which include Dillard, Tulane, LSU, Xavier, Loyola, and the University of New Orleans.
MMI is experienced with providing engineering design services for several large scale industrial projects ranging from telecommunications to wharf additions, renovations, and flood prevention.
MMI has provided engineering services for many of the outstanding medical complexes in the area including Ochsner, Tulane, and University Medical Center as well as numerous private facilities.
The military and government have an array of needs including research facilities, detention centers, operational headquarters, fire departments, and justice centers. In each of their projects, MMI has risen to the challenge to provide engineering design services in compliance with strict state and federal requirements.
Post Hurricane Katrina, MMI has served as the Structural and/or Civil Engineer-of-Record for the new construction and major renovation of over 35 elementary and high schools in the region, which are valued over 700M. In addition, MMI has performed dozens of existing condition assessments for the Recovery School District (RSD) and Orleans Parish School Board (OPSB).
Parking structures are a necessity in major cities. While many of MMI's garage projects are stand alone, there were those designed for parking structures to be hidden within the first floor of many major new multi-story structures.
