In order to avoid raw sewage overflows during high water or heavy precipitation events, Station Grand Isle in Grand Isle, Louisiana underwent design-build construction of the boathouse and sewage treatment system maintenance.Work consists of, but is not limited to demolition of the existing boathouse, finger piers, construction of two new finger-piers, design and construct a new covered mooring boathouse, repair waterfront infrastructure, replace and repair sanitary sewer manholes, pipelines, lift station, and regrade ground around waste water treatment plant to provide positive drainage.
