Prior to working at Morphy Makofsky, Mr. Heyl graduated from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering in 2020. After graduating, he worked for a local general contractor that specialized in residential pool construction. He began working as a structural engineering intern for a forensic engineering company at the beginning of 2021, analyzing existing buildings for structural integrity and conceptual repairs.  He began working for MMI in 2023.

 

A New Orleans native, Mr. Heyl enjoys rooting for the local professional teams and staying active when the weather permits it. He is excited to learn and gain quality design experience with the MMI team.
