Structural Engineer

I was born in Arizona, but moved to Miami, FL (the 305!!!) when I was about 3 years old. I lived there for 10 years, and then moved to Lafayette, LA and lived there until I graduated college. I have family all over Florida, Costa Rica, Canada, and more. Growing up and getting to see the difference in structural development in all the places I’ve been, sparked my interest in engineering. I graduated university in 2020, and was part of the first pandemic/online graduations. From there the pandemic journey brought me back to FL (Fort Walton Beach and Tampa) where I began my career as an engineer focusing on structural design for buildings. Throughout my time in FL I gained experience in new design, construction documents and administration, forensic investigations/assessments, demolition oversight, and restoration projects. I have learned and have been exposed to many different aspects of the construction and engineering world. In this field, there is something new to do and/or learn every single day. I look forward to my new chapter with MMI and am ready to continuing gaining experience and learning something new every day with the structural team here.

Where is your favorite travel destination?

Anywhere nature related, hiking, kayaking, etc. that I can bring my 3 dogs to explore with me. This is how I get myself to step away from all of the screens and allow my dogs to explore all the smells. â€‹
