Structural technician

Born and raised in New Orleans, Richard Lorio attended St. Charles Catholic High School. He received an Associate Degree in Engineering Graphics Design from Delgado Community College. He was owner and operator of his own lawn equipment business for 5 years before returning to school and attending Louisiana Technical College. There, he received a certificate in Computer Aided Drafting and Design. Richard has been employed at MMI since 2007 as a Structural Technician utilizing software such as, Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam, while also managing all the files on MMI’s archive server.

As a young man, Richard achieved a first class ranking in scouting. His hobbies include golf, fishing, and helping with The Miracle League of Greater New Orleans, a sports league for children with special needs. He is also a volunteer for special events benefiting Children’s Hospital. Much of his time is spent with his wife, two children, family and friends, and going to LSU games and festivals.
