Morphy Makofsky, Inc. provided the structural and foundation design for the 110,000 square foot world class aquarium for the maintenance, exhibition, breeding and study of aquatic life with related facilities, bandstands, plazas, food service and public facilities, utility buildings, ramps small bridges and riverfront promenade.  The structure is supported on deep steel pipe foundations.  A bank stability problem was resolved by the use of steel pipe piles and steel sheet piling.
